Rosewood Park, Pool & Splash Pad
1182 Pleasant Valley, Austin, TX
Very pretty path going South. The path headed North runs along the Creek, but its not as beautiful as the big oaks that line the Souther portion of the trail.
TYPE OF PATH:
Mostly a paved path, some neighborhood streets & a few occurrences with dirt
For running: Yes
For playgrounding/splashing/swimming: Playgrounding, yes! Splash, perhaps. Swimming? No sir.
Pirate Ship - slides, bridges, telescopes, lots of hiding spots
Bucket Swings & Big Kid Swings
BATHROOMS (BECAUSE POTTY TRAINING HAPPENS):
There are several options for restrooms. They are located near the recreational center as well as on the jogging trail (South of the park).
Pretty plentiful. Not a lot of shaded spots, however, so you may want to bring your sun shield.
Large fields for playing
Well maintained playground
Splash pad is opened later in the year than most (the majority close when school begins in August)
