HOW TOUGH? 2 bats. Although you run down for the first half of the run... what goes down, must come back up.
HOW PRETTY? Quite. A wonderful trot through UT's campus, followed by a loop-de-loop around the State Capital Building. It's a nice 'touristy' run.
TYPE OF PATH: Streets, Campus Paths and Sidewalks
DOG FRIENDLY? For running: Not so much For playgrounding/splashing/swimming: Yes, very much so.
BATHROOMS (BECAUSE POTTY TRAINING HAPPENS): One for the men & one for the women. They aren't fancy, but they serve their purpose.
Start at the playground, run West onto Bellevue, South on Duval and continue South on San Jacinto. Follow San Jacinto all the way to the Capital Building, loop around the Capital Building and return the same route. 3.59 miles.
