HOW PRETTY?
Very scenic. Often there are swans, turtles and other animals enjoying the river. Lots of retired, friendly walkers as well. Must be a 55 and older community nearby.
TYPE OF PATH:
Dirt Trail & Paved Path
DOG FRIENDLY?
For running:
For playgrounding/splashing/swimming:
PLAYSCAPE FEATURES:
Multiple playscapes
Teepees
Rock Wall
Musical chimes
Tall & fast slides
A faux bank/city appeal
Telescopes
Benches with a canopy for hot Moms (you know who you are)
Ramps
Monkey bars
Tunnels
Swings
Drinking fountains
PLAYSCAPE SURFACE:
Mulch and some grass in the enclosed space.
BATHROOMS (BECAUSE POTTY TRAINING HAPPENS):
Super close to the playground, but a bit 'rustic,' if you will.
PARKING:
Parking can be a bit of a problem since many of the spots are reserved for the community center.
EXTRAS:
There is a portion of the playground that has an obstructed view of those under 3 feet, so if you're a helicopter Mom with a tiny tot, you may not feel comfortable.
Not a whole lot of shade on the toddler playscape so the equipment can get a bit warm.
Nearby baseball field(s)
